Every simple UCITS ETF model portfolio, side by side.

Lazy UCITS publishes all of its model portfolios openly, from one-fund all-world to three-fund mixes with optional gold, commodities or small-cap sleeves. You filter and sort them by objective criteria. We show historical risk in five base currencies and list every eligible Irish/Luxembourg-domiciled ETF for each building block, ranked by cost and size. We make no recommendation.

Information only, not advice. Nothing on this site says which portfolio or fund suits you. Historical figures are not a forecast. This site is not for US persons (citizens, green-card holders, US tax residents). If you are one, see usexpatbanks.com.
Optional: “What's my risk comfort?” – a 5-question educational exercise General education, not advice

This exercise uses generic textbook questions. It does not know your finances, tax position, goals or obligations, and it does not select or recommend any portfolio or fund. It only maps your answers to a broad equity-percentage range that investor-education materials often associate with answers like yours. It then shows all portfolios in that range. Nothing is stored or sent.

1. In general, how long might money like this stay invested before it is needed?

2. Historically, global equity markets have at times fallen 30–50% from peak to trough. How would a fall like that in an investment typically feel?

3. What is the largest temporary loss you would generally tolerate without changing course?

4. Is there a separate emergency cash reserve, so this money would not have to be sold in a downturn?

5. How much experience is there with investments that rise and fall in value?

16 model portfolios

Statistics are historical, in the selected base currency, over each portfolio's longest common data window (shown on the card), with monthly rebalancing. Windows differ between cards, so for a like-for-like view, open a portfolio and see “Common window”. The ETF named on each card is simply the first in our neutral sort order (lowest TER, then largest fund), with ETFs that have an exchange line in your base currency placed first; the line shown is the one trading in that currency (e.g. SIX in CHF). It is not a pick.

How to read this page

  • All portfolios are always published. Filters only hide cards. They never score or rank portfolios for you.
  • Equity share is the simplest objective measure of how much a mix has historically swung in value. More equity has meant higher long-run returns and deeper falls.
  • Base currency changes the statistics (currency moves matter), which bond share classes count as “hedged to base”, and which exchange line of each ETF is shown (the fund itself is the same). Base vs fund vs trading currency.
  • ETF options for each building block are listed on the portfolio page in a neutral order: lowest TER first, then larger fund size, then longer track record. Affiliate status never affects this order.
